After breakfast, head to Mysore. On the way, visit Srirangapatna which was once the capital of King Hyder Ali and his son Tippu Sultan. On arrival at Mysore, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Mysore Palace, one of the major attractions of the city, and Mysore Zoo In the evening, proceed to world famous Brindavan Gardens expanded over 150 acres. Bandipur National Park was established in the year 1974 as a forest tiger reserve under the Project Tiger. One of the most prominent national parks located in the south Indian state of Karnataka, Bandipur is best known for its varied wildlife including tigers, elephants, leopards, gaurs (Indian bison), chitals (spotted deer), sambars, sloth bears, dholes, mongooses and langurs. It’s also home to an impressive 350 bird species. Only 72km south of Mysore on the Ooty road, it is one of the best places to explore South India’s wildlife.
After breakfast, head for a sightseeing tour of Ooty. Visit Doddabetta Peak to get a panoramic view of the neighbouring regions. Return to Ooty and visit the famous Botanical Garden built in 1847 and the Ooty Lake. You can also try horse-back riding around the lake.
