  • Day 1 : Arrive Ahmedabad

    Arrival at Ahmedabad airport/ railway station and proceed to Hotel. Check in at Hotel.
    Highlights: Gandhi Ashram, Akshardham temple.
    Later Proceed to local City Tour visit of Gandhi Ashram : On a quiet peaceful stretch of the Sabarmati river, Mahatma Gandhi set up a simple retreat in 1915. Hutheesingh Jain Temple : Built outside the Delhi Gate in 1850 by a rich Jain merchant, the Hutheesing Temple is the best known of Ahmedabad's many ornate Jain temples.
    Adalaj Step-well : It is situated 17kms north of Ahmedabad. The step well at the village of Adalaj is another fine example of this magnificent architectural form. Adalaj Vav is richly carved, every pillar and wall surface covered with leaves and flowers, birds and fishes and friezes of ornamental designs. & Akshardham Temple.

    Day 2 : Ahmedabad - Vadodara

    Highlights : Champaner , Pavagadh
    After breakfast, drive to Vadodara enroute visiting Champaner & Pavagadh.
    Champaner is an ancient fort located at the foothills of Pavagadh. The town derives its name from the Champa tree or from Champaraj-founder of the town, a contemporary of King VanrajChavda of Anhilwada. The famous Muslim king of Gujarat, Muhammad Begda captured the fort in late 15th century after a long siege against the Khichi Chauhan Rajputs.
    Pavagadh:Most of the Hindus in India have faith in goddess Mahakali, particularly from the western region covering the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan & Maharashtra. The famous and the oldest temple of Mahakailiis situated at Pavagadh, near Vadodara, one of the main cities of Gujarat.

    Day 3 : Vadodara – Bhavnagar

    Highlights : Lothal
    After breakfast, drive to Bhavnagar enroute visiting Lothal.
    Lothal : A perfect place to get an insight of the Indus Valley civilization. The most dominating site at Lothal is the massive dockyard spanning an area of 37 meters by 22 meters perhaps the greatest work of Maritime Architecture. Lothal was also famous for its arterial streets, microbes of gold, ivory and coppersmiths' workshops, potteries and underground sanitary drainage. It is located at a distance of 78kms from Ahmedabad.

    Day 4 : Bhavnagar - Gondal

    Highlights : Palitana , Vintage Cars , Orchard Palace
    Early morning we go to Shetrunjaya hills at Palitana.
    Palitana: A 56kms. Drive from Bhavnagar. Palitana lies at the foot of the Shetrunjaya hill, with the Shetrunjayariver flowing to its south. The savred hill rises in a crescendo of magnificent temples – 863 in all – that soar in marble splendour to the top of the hill. The temples were built over an impressive span of 900 years with each generation of pilgrims making its contribution to the shrines of Shetrunjaya. The 600-metre climb to Shetrunjaya is usually made on foot. Dolis or lift-chairs are also available for the ascent.
    Later in the afternoon drive to Gondal. Upon arrival check in at hotel.

    Day 5 : Gondal – Dasada

    Highlights : Wild Ass Sanctuary, Salt make
    Today we drive to Dasada.
    Dasada : Little Rann Of Kutch, the only sanctuary for the Asiatic wild ass in India. The highlight of this sanctuary is the Asiatic wild ass or gudkhur that is endemic to the region & is one of the most endangered species in the world. Other mammals that could be seen are nilgai, black buck antelope, chinkara gazelle, Indian wolf, Indian desert foxes, jackals & lesser cats. Also is a paradise for bird watchers.The key dryland birds are Mcqueen'shoubara bustard, chestnut bellied & spotted sandgrouse, Indian coursedr, 13 speices of larks & sparrow larks, 5 of quails (including buttonquails), thick-knee, desert warbler, desert & variable wheatear, aquila eagles, short toed snake eagle, six species of falcon & three harriers. Five species of vulture have been recorded). Apart from all these you can hope to see greater & lesser flamingo, three speices of pelican, spoonbill, demossille& common cranes, and a number of ducks in flocks of several thousand during winters.

    Day 6 : Dasada – Ahmedabad

    Highlights : Rani Step Well, Modhera Sun Temple, Garba Dance
    After breakfast drive to Ahmedabad enroute visiting Patan & Modhera.
    Patan : Home of the famous patola silk saris, Patan is a beautiful old town with Jain temples and carved wooden houses. Ranikivav (step well) is an excellent example of subterranean architecture of Gujarat.
    Modhera : The Sun temple of Modhera is one of the finest examples of Indian architecture of its period. Built in 1026 A.D. the temple is dedicated to the Sun-God, Surya and stands high on a plinth overlooking a deep stone-steeped tank. Upon arrival Check in at Hotel.
    Overnight at Ahmedabad.

    Day 7 : Ahmedabad

    Highlights : Ambaji
    After breakfast, Visit :- Ambaji Temple contains no idol, but an inscribed Yantra in the niche. Ambaji is essentially a temple town-with a temple dedicated to Goddess Ambaji at the center. The Ambaji Temple and the front court 'Chachar no Chowk' are aligned in the same axis of the cave at Gabbar hill-the original abode of Goddess Ambaji.: 22 kms from Danta is one of the major Shakti-piths of India, situated in the Arasur hills. The The present temple was constructed a few years ago, maintaining the original architectural style. Millions of piligrims visit the temple every year-especially during Navratri to seek the blessing of Goddess Ambaji.

    Day 8 : Ahmedabad

    Morning after breakfast, check out hotel and proceed to airport for onward journey.

    Confirmation of Hotel booking / Tour Package is subject to the remittance of 50% of the total Hotel / tour cost in advance and rest to be paid prior to the commencing of the hotels / tours so as to protect all arrangements on definite arrival basis.
