  • Overview

    Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon) is an island nation south of India in the Indian Ocean. Its diverse landscapes range from rainforest to arid plains and highlands to sandy beaches. The highlands of Nuwara Eliya and Kandy have some of the most picturesque views. 


    Day 1 : Colombo – Bentota

    Arrive Bandarnaike Airport, Colombo and transfer to Bentota to check into your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

        

    Day 2 : Bentota

    Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a visit to the turtle Hatchery followed by the Maadu River Safari - ride a canopied motor boat and pass by several mangrove forests. You see prawn farming, traditional fishing technique and wildlife such as water monitor, wild monkeys and different species of birds. You stop by at the Kothduwa temple (a Buddhist temple), Cinnamon Island and Fish Farm which offers you a fish spa. You may also take a picture with a baby crocodile here. Overnight stay at hotel.

        

    Day 3 : Bentota - Nuwara Eliya

    Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Arrive and check into your hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.


    Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya

    Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for a visit to the Hakgala Gardens which is the second largest garden in Sri Lanka. The garden is contiguous to Hakgala Strict Nature Reserve in Nuwara Eliya. The garden is said to be the highest set botanical garden in the world. It was established for Cinchone cultivation, which was later replaced by a tea plantation. Thereafter it was transformed into a garden and many sub tropical and temperate plants were planted in this garden. Overnight stay at hotel.

        

    Day 5 : Nuwara Eliya - Colombo

    After breakfast check out and transfer to Colombo. Check in and the evening free to explore the casino and the happening night life of the city. Overnight stay at hotel.

        

    Day 6 : Colombo - India

    Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to the airport to take your flight back to India.

    •   20% of the total tour cost to be deposited upon commitment of the tour. This deposit is non-refundable
    •   75% of the total tour cost to be paid 08 weeks prior to arrival date
    •   100% of the total tour is required 45 days prior departure or within 24 hours of confirmation if travelling within 45 days from departure

    Cancellation Policy :

    •   10 weeks or more prior to arrival date: 25% deposit
    •   09 weeks prior to arrival date: 100% of the total tour cost
    •   Any cancellations must be made in writting

    Visas : Please ensure your passport is valid more than 6 months from the date of return for every country you are visiting. Please also ensure there is sufficient space in your passport to allow for all immigration procedures.

    Travel Insurance: The tour price does not include personal insurance. Travelers are highly recommended to purchase travel insurance upon commitment of the booking in case of force majeure. Travel insurance covers such costs as emergency and medical evacuation, hospital fees, property loss, etc which could possibly happen during the trip.
