  • Day 1 : Arrival Auckland

    On arrival in Auckland, 'The City of Sails', seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel.

    Day 2 : Auckland

    Day 3 : Auckland – Waitomo - Rotorua

    This morning Travel south through the fertile Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Caves including underground boat ride.

    Day 4 : Rotorua

    This morning Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand’s trout, birds and wildlife before continuing to the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show featuring sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and an introduction to the stars of our sheep industry. The afternoon is at leisure. This evening enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert.

    Te Puia is home to the New Zealand Māori Arts and Crafts Insitute and the world famous Pohutu geyser. Along with access to the world famous Pohutu geyser, visitors have an opportunity to see Māori cultural performances, live kiwi, boiling mud pools, native bush and the National Schools of Wood Carving and Weaving. These are the threads that form the fabric of Te Puia, fitting its role as kaitiaki (guardian) of Māori culture for future generations.

    An evening at Mitai will give you an authentic introduction to Maori culture leaving you amazed and in awe. Enter the world of Mitai.     Day 5 : Rotorua – Christchurch

    This morning depart on your domestic flight from Rotorua to Christchurch Upon arrival in Christchurch. Transfer to Hotel. Day at Leisure.

    Day 6 : Christchurch – Mt. Cook – Queenstown

    This morning, travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd before continuing on to New Zealand’s highest mountain - Mt Cook. Depart Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region to the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown.

    Mt Cook, the tallest mountain in New Zealand, helped Sir Edmund Hillary to develop his climbing skills in preparation for the conquest of Everest.

    Aoraki Mount Cook National Park is home of the highest mountains and the longest glaciers. It is alpine in the purest sense - with skyscraping peaks, glaciers and permanent snow fields, all set under a star-studded sky.

    Queenstown - Surrounded by the soaring indigo heights of the Remarkables and framed by the meandering coves of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is a right show-off. Looking like a small town, but displaying the energy of a small city, it wears its ‘Global Adventure Capital’ badge proudly.

    Queenstown in New Zealand is renowned internationally as an adventure tourism hotspot, but there are also less adrenaline-fuelled activities to be enjoyed amid beautiful Central Otago scenery. Overnight in Queenstown.

    A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, gondola rides and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price.

    Queenstown's most famous thrill-seeking activity is bungy jumping (also known as bungee jumping), where a long elastic cord is attached to the ankles or harness, and the person jumps off a large height. Queenstown, New Zealand, sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps. Renowned for adventure sports, it’s also a base for exploring the region’s vineyards and historic mining towns. There's bungee jumping off Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge and jet-boating on the Shotover and Dart rivers. Overnight in Queenstown.

    Day 8 : Queenstown – Milford Sound

    Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Buffet lunch is also included on board today.

    Milford Sound has been described as the ‘8th wonder of the world’ and is a must see destination! Travelling through Southland and into the Fiordland National Park, the views are stunning with towering mountains overhead, breathtaking vistas and ample photo opportunities. A Scenic Cruise for great views of Mitre Peak, glacier scarred waterfalls and local wildlife like seals, penguins and dolphins. Return to Queenstown. Overnight in Queenstown.

    •   10 weeks or more prior to arrival date: 25% deposit.
    •   09 weeks prior to arrival date: 100% of the total tour cost.
